Ranking: 163rd overall, 39th in the 35-39 male age group
Words from the finish line: “While doing this race, I swore to myself I’d never do another Ironman race – the same thing I did during my first Ironman race in 2007, and I’ve done four more races since then. It is without a doubt a painful but joyous experience. It's not about being a masochist but more of earning something at the finish – a sense of accomplishment from hard work.  It’s special and can't be taken away, thus, the reason for this cycle.”

Words from the finish line: “A month before the race I got several leg and knee injuries: shin splints on my left, EDL and ITB on my right.  During the race, I took the risk of taking a pain killer so I wouldn’t feel any pain but sadly it didn’t take away cramps! Malas!”
