Beijing, China
Among the Asian countries and cities I've visited for the past three years, Beijing is probably the least tourist-friendly place ever. I'm not saying that the people are rude or something, but it's hard to move around the place if you don't know a little bit of Mandarin. Not everything is written in English.

I don't know why, but everything is made in China, but we feel that everything is more expensive there. Heck, I feel it's more expensive there than in Singapore. Probably, that's just us (me and my family).
The Great Wall (Mutianyu area) is so beautiful. I can't even. No wonder it's considered one of the seven wonders of the world. There's also a Chinese proverb that says you're no hero if you have never climbed the Great Wall and.... since we did, you can now call me a "hero."

Beijing Zoo is a big, big place but definitely worth going to. You can see the not-so-giant pandas, white tigers, and all sorts of jellyfish. We were there for one whole day and we weren't even able to see the Australian animals. Yes, the place is that big.

I was in Beijing, China for three days and it was bloody cold. Three layers of clothing and still freezing. Mind you, it wasn't even snowing.
