Manila's nightly party scene makes every evening a reason to party! Take your pick from our favorite nights out, and whether it's '80s you crave or an afternoon of reggae, we've got the perfect party menu for you.

MONDAY: Mobstep at Dillinger's

Remembering Absinth bar and its crazy Fluxxe Thursdays is like going on a trip down memory lane, to a wild night with a horrible hangover that you DON'T regret. If you think about it, the evenings of the late 2010 to 2011 have proved that Greenbelt is winning back the insomniacs of Makati, and I don't just mean the 9-5 employees who loiter on the balcony of Krocodile grill with a San Mig Light, but the high schoolers, the college kids, and the yuppies who are out to have fun. Dillinger's, a pub-like bar that's definitely filling the big shoes of what used to be Absinth, is now home to Mobstep Mondays. After a long and grueling day, all you need is to rock along to the dirty sounds of dubstep and electro (Moms and Dads, this is what your daughter's been listening to these days).

Music: Electro and Dubstep

MONDAY: Sing-Along Mondays at Casa Nami

Many of us mourned the final days of Mag:net Cafe at the Fort, where no Monday evening was spared a rendition of The Cranberries' Zombie or a drunken take on Oasis' Wonderwall. Thank God for Casa Nami, the beloved surf-inspired bar along Jupiter St., who decided to finally resurrect a Manila favorite: Rockeoke night! As karaoke has always been a Filipino's best friend (the Magic Mic is practically a must-have for any household over 3), it's reinterpretation by Mag:net as a get-together that isn't just shared by an intimate group has given all of us the chance to be a star in 5 minutes. Complete with a live band, you and your friends can sing along to your heart's content, BUT don't forget to pass on your request on that little paper napkin early on, because the waiting list goes on all night!

Music: '90s Alternative, Rock, Pop, and anything else you want to sing your heart out to!

TUESDAY is the new Sunday, because as recent events show, it's the only day of the week where nothing (as of yet) happens. Perhaps its a time to recharge and revive, because from Wednesday through Monday, your new schedule of nightly haunts will have you partying from dismissal time until morning!

WEDNESDAY: 80's Groove Night at Bond Urban Pub

Let's just say that your chance to finally dress like a virgin or one of Jem's Holograms can come true every Wednesday. What used to be Tabu bar in quiet Legaspi Village is now home to Bond, the only place in Manila that's revived the '80s with a bang. Come in costume and dance all night with your neon leg warmers and mini skirts, 'cause the Nu Wave scene is back and better than before!

Music: Disco, Nu Wave, Cherry Pop

WEDNESDAY: Quiz Night at Capricciosa

If you were an eager beaver, class beadle, teacher's assistant or general know-it-all in high school or college, then Wednesday nights at Capricciosa is the outing for you! It's always an awesome idea to pair good food with some friendly competition, so signing up for a battle that involves knick knacks from history, entertainment, the humanities, science, and geography will make you contend till the end for a PHP 1000 gift certificate. No hard feelings for second placers either, because coming in as first runner up has never felt so good with a trophy that's a bottle of wine.

THURSDAY: Thunder at Elements Gastrolounge

Games aren't just for kids, and when music and alcohol are involved, the amount of fun you're going to have is directly proportional to the number of balls you shoot or DON'T shoot. Yes,  beer pong--an invention of frat boys from the Western world which none of us regret, where keeping your eye on the red cup means all of your reputation and sobriety. Every Thursday at Elements Gastrolounge (what used to be the strangely suspicious Bed Lounge), people of all ages come to congregate around two long tables at the back of the bar, all to engage in a game of pong that almost always ends in a drunken riot of team against team. Who cares if you can't aim? At least you'll be downing the dregs of your plastic cup with friends, good music, and a whole lot of mayhem! Oh, and the best part? Wait 'til the ladies start taunting their opponents, that's when you know the night has definitely picked up!

Music: Dubstep, Electro-House, Breaks, Hip Hop

FRIDAY: Kyss and Tell at Kyss

Makati Ave is home to an enormous selection of night owls spots that hail from all walks of life: whether it's a strip club, midget boxing, a roof-top party, Wendy's at 4 am, or even salsa dancing, this is one street that's a definite must for any itinerary. So if you're in the mood to glam up and party hard, then a trip to Kyss is all you need. Like any good ol' college party, Kyss and Tell Fridays are packed with boys, girls, dancing, and a whole lot of yummy cocktails to go around.

Music: House, Hip-Hop and whatever else is on the most recent top 40

SATURDAY:  Saturcray at Il Ponticello

For a lot of people, Ponti has always been a reliable choice for a night out on any day, and will most definitely conclude the evening as eventful after you've downed a couple of Azurri and Liquid Cocaine shots. Here is an Italian restaurant that, by day, is full of Makati's bread and butter out to have lunch, but turns into a wicked playground for its sons and daughters' come 9 pm onwards. There is no game-over here at Ponti, which has definitely seen and heard too much in all its years. Take Me Back Tuesdays and Cheers Wednesdays have proved that a weeknight should never be spent wasting time at home and in bed, but, instead, is always a reason to come out and play. And Saturdays (which were becoming uneventful) are definitely no exception. Have a beer (or eight), dance, mingle, and grab someone you know, 'cause it ain't over until Ponti says so!

Music: Hip Hop, House, Pop, Alternative

SUNDAY: Irie Sunday at B Side

Sundays are never too lazy for the Irie patrons over at B Side, and when any event begins at 4:20 in the afternoon till the wee hours of the morning, you know you're ushering in the following Monday the right way. A beer, friends, and a sound trip that's strictly dub, ska, reggae, and roots, there's no reason to miss out on the high emotions and peaceful vibrations only at the Collective. Rock along with artists like Indio i, Pasta Groove, Likkle Mai, Tropical Depression, and Goodleaf--the perfect soundtrack for winding down and chilling out. Seriously, you've got to be nuts to pass up a Sunday gig that involves alcohol, good music, and positive vibrations…
