Sorry, but the original is still better - subtitles and all. This works, though, for those who are comforted by Hollywood's linear manner, because it makes it easier for broader audiences to understand. But since most locals won't have access to the original trilogy, then this is OK. After all, David Fincher is a good director, Daniel Craig is adequate and Rooney Mara, while lacking the inherent terror that Noomi Rapace is bathed in, does well enough with the help of make up and costumes. The sex here is more generous, though, considering it's American. The sequel? Probably better downloaded.

A bit dragging during the first 30 minutes of the movie. But when the 2 lead characters meet, the action and suspense starts to build up. Rooney Mara gave a superb performance as Lisbeth Salander. Can't wait for the sequel!
