The famous book series by Suzanne Collins is finally coming to life as they release their first and official movie trailer of The Hunger Games starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. 

The Hunger Games is a young-adult science fiction novel by Suzanne Collins and is the first book of the famous trilogy. The story revolves around Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, District 12's tribute for the annual Hunger Games, a televised event all over Panem (a country once known as North America). In this event, the tributes —a boy and girl between ages 12 to 18 — must fight to the death in a dangerous but controlled environment until there's only one remaining. The Capitol, the country's government central, is the one controlling the environment providing means to make sure each tribute kills each other. 

Due to its success, Liongate took the liberty to make the book series come to life. Check out the official trailer below!

I'm such a huge Hunger Games fan (The Girl on Fire, my blog's title is actually from the book) and watching the trailer gave me goosebumps and teary eyes! Truth is, a lot of people were not happy with Liongate's decision in the cast. 

But after seeing this movie trailer? Will that change your mind?
