STEVE NASH joins the L.A. LAKERS!

Posted on July 05, 2012 by Spanky Hizon Enriquez
"Hey Kobe! You think we can get two rings?"

"The two of us together? Easy peasy, Stevie!"

"Goodbye Phoenix, thanks for the memories and the MVP awards!!!"

"This will not be another Gary Payton/Karl Malone situation, Black Mamba!"

"The biggest loser in this scenario? Guess who? He he he he!!!"

That roar you hear is the sound of millions of Lakers fans, celebrating with wild abandon~

Just when we (yes, I am a loyal Lakers fan for life) thought that it would take another decade, nay, another generation for the Purple and the Gold to get another chance for another crown...

Just when we thought that the nucleus of Kobe, Pau Gasol, and Andrew Bynum would be broken up to assemble another line-up as intense and competitive as 2009 and 2010...

Just when we thought that we would watch an uninterrupted string of Miami vs. Oklahoma NBA Championship match-ups for at least the next five years...

Well, it turns out that we could very well be celebrating Kobe's sixth ring just eleven months from now!

How good can the Kobe-Nash team-up be?

Nash is a two-time MVP who has lost none of the speed and skills despite celebrating his 37th birthday last February 7. This past season, he averaged 12.5 points and 10.7 assists. The only thing Steve really lacked? Quality teammates to pass the ball to.

(Is it good? Is it bad? Or just okay? RANT or RAVE and win amazing prizes while you're at it.)

Ever since Amar'e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion left the Phoenix Suns, I've been dreaming about their Point Guard finding new friends in Hollywood - - - and now that it's finally happened, I'm as giddy as LBJ fans during "The Decision".

So the question is, can Kobe-Nash-Gasol-Bynum-Metta World Peace overcome Durant-Westbrook-Harden and James-Wade-Bosh?

You betcha, as Sarah Palin used to shout!

November cannot come quickly enough!
