LINSANITY!!!

The hottest player in the NBA is a Taiwanese-American graduate of Harvard: Jeremy LIN is the most exciting New York Knick Point Guard since the great John Starks~ and their stories are not dissimilar. Lin had not been given a chance to prove his worth in two NBA clubs: the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets,where his playing time was next to nothing. John Starks career in the early 1990s, almost exactly twenty years ago, was in similar doldrums: he was actually bagging groceries (!)when he got that fateful call to try out for the Knicks. Not too long after, Starks, teaming up with Patrick Ewing, led New York to the NBA Finals versus the Rockets. The Knicks lost, but Starks' legend was born.

And this past week, the Legend of Lin began... and once again, the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, is rockin' and rollin' again!!!

The Knicks, seemingly fated to a be out of the playoffs this year under the lackluster team up of stars Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony, have won their 5th straight~ their longest winning streak of this shortened season, despite the absence of those two superstars.

Who needs them at this point, when their team is now loudly singing "LIN ON ME"???

During the 5 Straight Wins for the New York Knicks: "JLin" has topscored in each with 25, 28, 23, 38, AND 20 points~ and one of those wins was against the L.A. Lakers and Kobe Bryant, whom Jeremy Lin outscored (!) and outplayed, as if to validate his stardom. Add 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals a game, and the NBA has a new overnight star!
