Why Millions and Millions of NBA Fans all over the world are ecstatic that this season wasn't completely shut down by the dreaded Labor Lockout... we all would have missed one spectacular year of Blake Griffin reaching his peak!!!

Overstuffed schedules aside, all is going great guns over at the NBA, and the league has just announced the Starting Fives of the West and the East All Star Teams:

The Clippers and Lakers dominated the voting, and thanks to Yao Ming's retirement, another Center can now start for the West All Stars. Take a bow, Andrew Bynum!!!

The East, not surprisingly, is led by three of the top players of the NBA, all of them from teams based in Florida: Howard from Orlando, and Lebron James and Dwayne Wade from Miami.

Action in the game, scheduled for 9am on Monday, February 26 (Manila Time) is expected to be balls in the sky, above the rim.

The reserves will be announced next week,and these two better be on the West roster:

the best new Power Forward/Point Guard tandem in the NBA, definitely the best since Karl Malone/John Stockton of the 1990s Utah Jazz, the Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio!!!
