The Never-ending Battle: BlackBerry vs iPhone

Since college, I've always been biased towards the Blackberry because I find the iPhone to be such a douchey gadget. I don't know why I think it's made for douchebags... I think I relate it to the first generation iPhone and all the rich kids in school walking around pretending to look for signal just so they can show off their latest quote-unquote babe magnet. HELLO kung makapag iPhone ka wala namang internet!! Haha yun ata yung panahon na wala pang Supersurf eh. No, hindi ako bitter, di ko lang talaga type yung touch screen keypad.

9GAG Reader (I do this to fall asleep sometimes)
Pokemon (my little brother, Arkin, hacked into my iPhone and installed this so I'm sorry it's not an app you can download!)

I admit, I succumbed to my siblings' peer pressure a year ago. Now I am reconsidering my decision. I was tweeting the other day about giving up my iPhone 4 because right now I have that AND a Blackberry 9780 because I can't let go of BBM. I've finally made up my mind. I can let go of Instagram and other apps because I have an iPad anyway and I think all these games are f*cking with my attention span.
My current favorite applications:
Locally made Streetfood Tycoon (sorry na-screencap ko nang nakapikit si tycoon)

I can do all of these on my iPad 2 or I can even just give them all up. I'm trading in both phones for a Blackberry 9900
Nothing new but it's what my mom has and she seems really happy with it. I think I have enough gadgets that make me feel like a kid and an iPhone is really not helping with my goal of becoming more organized - I hate touch screens so I barely reply to texts/emails through my phone.

A tiny part of me is a gadget geek (I got it from my dad) but I'm not one to get the latest release of everything. If there's one gadget I CAN live without, it would be my iPhone. Maybe it's too much for me. I love my laptop's 13-inch screen and to do so many things in a tiny screen is frustrating. I just really want a phone with e-mail and a physical keypad. The Blackberry Messenger is just a plus plus plus. So as I was transferring stuff off my iPhone, I did some research and wow I had no idea Blackberry was releasing it's very late rebuttal to Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Android.

That is soooo fine. Can't wait for it to come out. I hear it will be released later in the year. I still don't like touch screens though so whoever has it first (I'm looking at you, gadget reviewers!!), can I please play with it too? :) Maybe, just maybe, I'll convert back to touch screens since it's Blackberry.
I want to know: what do you prefer - the iPhone or the Blackberry?

Hi saab! Ive always been a blackberry user since forever. So far the gadget made me feel very satisfied esp bcos it has push notifs which made it easy for me to know whenever someone mentioned me on twitter or so. But early last yr, just like you ive been a victim of peer pressure since most of the people i know own an iphone and also since my siblings are so into it, i gave it a try. But i was so disappointed bcos the first 2mos i got bored w it and it made me feel really sad so i switched back to bb. And then the 4s came, again i switched back to iphone, this time since i wanted a connection everywhere and whenever, i got a plan from globe. So far i am liking my 4s! I get notifications and life was so much easier w this phone :) ive had the blackberry dakota before this and it really is the best blackberry so far plus its way faster than the torch, which i had too all because i wanted to have the same fone w you hahaha! I was so saddened when urs got stolen :( sorry for even reminding you :/ ps i used to think iphones are for childish people too! Haha ive been a fan of urs since lipgloss days :*
