MTV EXIT: Ramon Bautista. Jason Mraz. Jay Park. All on ONE stage!

Posted on November 09, 2011 by Arriane Serafico

Filipino comedian Ramon Bautista, American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, K-Pop singer and breakdancer Jay Park, ALL ON ONE STAGE. What in the world is going on? MTV Exit Live in Manila, that's what.

Last October 29, Bautista, Mraz and Park were joined onstage by Californian rock band Evaline, and top-tier local acts Itchyworms, Pupil, Ebe Dancel, Parokya ni Edgar -- all with a strong singular cause: to increase awareness and prevention of human trafficking.

MTV EXIT is a worldwide campaign for freedom —

"[This campaign is] about our rights as human beings to choose where we live, where we work, who our friends are, and who we love. Most of us take these freedoms for granted, but hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world have had these basic human rights taken away.

They are victims of trafficking – modern-day slaves — and criminals have forced, defrauded, or coerced them into various forms of labor, or prostitution."

None of the 25,000 fans who flocked to the free concert at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds left uninformed -- everyone was educated about the issue of human trafficking and how they could help.

And you can be sure that none of these 25,000 left disappointed either, because the artists gave them such an insanely fantastic show! Check out the photos from the event:

Hosts for the night: Ramon Bautista, MTV VJ Holly, and Tado

Dingdong Dantes (MTV Exit Celebrity Ambassador) & Matt Love of MTV Exit

Itchyworms; Ebe Dancel

Chito Miranda and Vinci Montaner of Parokya ni Edgar

Ely Buendia of Pupil; Richard Perry of Evaline

Everyone had to pick their jaws up from the floor when
surprise guest Jason Mraz took the stage!

The screams were deafening when KPop idol Jay Park performed --
and this turned into total pandemonium when he took off his shirt to reveal his six-pack abs!

The hosts and the artists did not fail to remind everyone to spread the word about human trafficking and exploitation. Modern-day slavery exists, and everyone should arm themselves with awareness and information.

If you know of anyone who is involved in such activity, or suspect any behavior from your community, call the human trafficking hotline: 1343.

Enslaved: An MTV EXIT Special will premiere on GMA NEWS TV Chanel 11 on November 27 at 9:55 PM. An MTV EXIT Concert special will premiere on GMA NEWS TV Channel 11 on November 20 at 9:55 PM.
