Musika at Kultura
Remember that controversial (idiotic idea, really) cover from one of the bestselling Men's Magazines last month? The one where a not-so-popular white-skinned young actress posed in front of a bevy of (charcoal blackened?) beauties, with the caption: "coming out of the dark" .... seriously??? WTF. The Dark Ages, maybe!!!
(Check out: The MARCH Issues: rating this month's Cover Girls)
That magazine pulled out that specific issue that was already in stores, and I hope, at great cost to them~ to teach them a harsh lesson and to prevent any more instances of dreadful racist stereotypes on their covers.
This month's Playboy seems perfectly timed to reject that odious cover; Wilma Doesnt proves that "Brown is Beautiful," in one of the most gorgeous pictures in any magazine this year. Bravo Playboy!!! Bravo Hugh Hefner!!!
Which is not to say, however, that the fair-skinned beauties have suddenly fallen out of favor; Cosmo's cover is so white, it looks like an ad for a detergent:
Rogue gets a very sly ad placement on its cover: the marketing hit of 2012, the Magnum bar, even finds its way there along with a very chocolatey, very luscious looking Solenn Heussaff~ who also happens to be one of the "brand ambassadors" of the absurdly in-demand, often out-of-stock frozen delight~

And how about the grandfather of the Philippines' very popular "lad mags"? Michelle Madrigal's all oiled up and sexily sweaty as FHM's sizzling April girl~RAWR!!!
