I was supposed to go to my the favorite places to chillax- The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or Starbucks but instead decided to try out Ti-amo located just at the mouth of Greenbelt 5 (coming from greenbelt 1). This new coffee shop has an eye-catching facade that makes you give it a 2nd glance as you walk by.

Now who here doesn't like italian gelato or coffee? In my opinion these two are comparable to music, dance and visual photography...appreciated wherever you are in the world whatever the language. Kudos to the guys who designed this place as it oozes with architectural simplicity. Cool for guys, chic for girls. A definite place to hang out and chill. No wonder this place is always full whenever i pass by!
The best thing about the place is its centerpiece: a lone tree located right smack in the middle of the cafe. Wherever your eyes linger, the tree gives balance to the area. It makes you feel that the air you breath in comes from it. Another nice touch is the back space with a chandelier where the words "Anything Area" can be seen, which in my opinion, is brilliant. It is a subtle way of enticing people in the front to pay attention to the back. There are plenty more unique designs in the store but I'll leave you to discover the rest.

While it is easy to think that such a fine looking establishment such as Ti Amo is too pricey, I bought a large Tiramisu Caffelato Frappe for only P145. Not bad when you compare it to other specialty coffee shops. As a personal suggestion, I recommend the tiramisu with their coffee- it is an absolute winner. If coffee isn't your thing, there's always gellato...omnomnomnom.

Ti Amo is a breath of fresh air amongst the usual cafe shops. It offers a its own unique ambience that is all its own.

Is this the one owned by Jollibee? I once heard that they will have a cafe resto to join the competition for coffee lovers.
