I read the book and watched the film as soon as it broke. It was an interesting adaptation of the book though the screenwriter took some liberties (as in not in the book) and was still able to convey the essence. First novel from the author and I don't know how she's going to top this.

The moment I read the title on the cover of the book on which it is based, I immediately knew I'd want to read it or see the film it will inevitably become - title pa lang, panalo na! And that was the challenge, can you live up to that title? Casting such handsome actors,Rachel McAdams and those luminous eyes, was key! It's a love story that demands intelligence and imagination, it requires cerebral engagement while getting kilig. I wanted it to soar some more, but the height it did reach was not disappointing.

my favorite line: "i don't want to keep you waiting...". subtext: "move on". sad. sad. sad. i couldn't think of any actress who can portray clare abshire better than rachel mcadams. and she's such an eye candy. beautiful in all her scenes. i luv it!
