Synopsis:

1n 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the 1st kind. When evidence is collected, it is the 2nd kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the 3rd kind. The next level, abduction, is the 4th kind. Set in modern-day Nome, Alaska where a disproportionate number of  people have mysteriously disappeared since the 1960s.  Despite FBI investigations, the truth has never been uncovered.  Not until psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients & discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented; and a government conspiracy that might be at the root of it all.
