Epic as it seems to be due to the All-star-cast, this movie will be well appreciated by hardcore fans of these actors. Probably because new viewers such as kids of today doesn't know much or sad to say wouldn't know much about these actors except the more recent ones like Statham. Why? It's because of numerous puns and references from action movies of the early eighties and nineties. I bet this movie was made as a tribute to the success of each actor's history as an action star during their prime. So to speak about the movie, it was really great but there's this one thing I dislike about it because the lead actors were Godlike in this movie. I mean five men versus a whole army? That's a lot of fiction in there but at least the action was really, really exciting.

I could forgive everything that went wrong with this movie if CHUCK NORRIS had been in it.

This is a testosterone fest - every frame was asserting the movie's alpha male DNA, as if it needed to scream "not a chick flick". The best action scenes were with Statham and Stallone using handguns and fancy knives - they were tightly choreographed and refreshing. The rest of the film at some point gets tired. Stallone, who directed it, took his material too seriously, despite some buddy humor here and there. The other big stars' roles were so small, the star power was unnecessary. All told, it is an inferior version of the earlier testosterone fest THE LOSERS. The title is appropriate - it's expendable. Bruce Willis looked great, seems his cosmetic surgeon has done the most natural-looking work. Stallone, for all his awesome muscles, looks like a transvestite on steroids - why the heck did he get a brow-lift?! But Giselle Itie is a dish.

Definitely the movie for the boys and the boys at heart! LOL! I bet my dad would love this movie! It was action-packed as expected. Although the genre is not really my cup of tea, I actually enjoyed it. :)

A movie for all action movie fanatics. Interestingly enough don't expect all the big names you see to have major roles. This movie is really Stallone and Statham's and is entertaining enough to be worth seeing. Expect the usual explosions and unbelievable action from movies of this genre!

Would have been better with a good story. The cameo of Bruce Willis is bad ass.
