There will be never-before-seen cuts in this special edition edition of Avatar? I have already watched the movie in the big screen but is it still worth it to watch it again? Let me think about it first. lol. But I love the movie though.

I heeard there will be a special edition of Avatar on selected malls. That's great news for those who haven't watched the movie in the big screen. One of the best movies that I've seen. :)

One of the best sci-fi movie I've ever seen. The action really does keep you on the edge of your seat.

Round 2, in an iMAX theater this time! (as if 3D wasn't good enough) I went in a doubter, came out a believer. Cameron's vision is awesome!

I hope this movie will be an eye opener and will induce us to make better decisions on progress, economy and environment. Good effects. There is a 3D version...

In the hands of a genius, technology and imagination gone wild are like an artist's paintbrush, and James Cameron is a genius! A fantastic new world is realized, in a story that is alternately fresh and familiar. Jake Sully's DNA is synched with a genetically engineered alien from a planet called Pandora. These aliens are 10 feet tall, have no body fat, and are integrated in spirit and physical state with all that live on their planet. Earthlings, the real aliens, and AMericans in this case, want to mine the planet for something precious, at whatever cost. This is Cameron's statement on saving the environment and the planet, as well as an indictment of the US military establishment and the lust for riches that rules capitalism and industry. I cannot help but think of its parallels with the oil-rich middle east, Iran, Iraq, or even John Smith invading the New World of Pocahontas. As film, it is pure, relentless entertainment. As essay, it makes you wonder about what connects all life... And at 2.5 hours, it is time well-spent. Easily, an awards contender. And Sam Worthington is a worthy star!
